As one of Ireland’s biggest exports, Amanda Byram started her career as a model at the age of 16 in Dublin. She shot to fame in this country on C4’s The Big Breakfast hosting the very popular show alongside Richard Bacon. From there she went on to successfully crack America where she presented the popular shows Paradise Hotel and The Swan, as well as hosting shows for US network giant Fox and the UK edition of Entertainment Tonight, which aired on Sky1 but was filmed in Los Angeles.

She struck a chord with the public here and stateside with her quick wit and charm. Never one to take herself too seriously, her warm, honest, open and friendly persona has helped her keep integrity and staying power in a highly competitive industry.

Amanda is also a health & fitness enthusiast, and is a columnist for Bodyfit Magazine - the UK's monthly magazine dedicated to women who are serious about fitness and training - which covers workout tips, fitness programmes and health products in the market place. She has always taken great care of her body, doing regular exercise, playing plenty of sports and eating a sensible and healthy diet. Amanda took part in the Sport Relief challenge, where she joined in the First Nation Home Challenge, and endured a gruelling physical challenge that saw each team complete over 1,000 miles of running, cycling, sailing and rowing.

She is also the ambassador for Love146, a charity whose aim is to abolish child sex slavery, exploitation and trafficking. She is leading a series of half marathons across the UK and promoting the charity worldwide.
