Welsh television presenter and TV personality MATT JOHNSON began his television career in 2009 when he joined the ITV Wales news programme WALES TONIGHT as a presenter and reporter. Matt’s natural charm and slick approach to presenting quickly secured him a presenting role for the interactive HUB team on ITV’s THIS MORNING as well as taking the position of co-presenter for Channel 5’s OK! TV.
Matt has featured on a selection of the country's top and most loved TV programmes including the celebrity Christmas special of TAKE ME OUT, a celebrity edition of ITV’s THE CHASE and TIPPING POINT: LUCKY STARS. Matt is also a regular face on THE NATIONAL LOTTERY DRAWS on BBC One, and in 2015 he became a reporter for one of the nations favourites; ITV’s SURPRISE SURPRISE. Just last year Johnson made it to the top 10 most in-demand charity ambassadors in the world alongside the likes of Kate Moss, Stephen Fry and Kristen Bell. Matt is now an official ambassador for the mental health charity Mind. Matt has been working on his own documentary about mental health “Matt Johnson: Iselder a Fi” Matt Johnson: Depression and Me”, that will be aired during Mental Health Awareness Week in May on S4C.
