Top chef and food writer Sophie Michell has over 20 years of cheffing experience behind her. Sophie trained at the respected Butler's Wharf Chef School in London, while working and training at reputable and glamorous restaurants La Gavroche, Michelin-starred Greenhouse, The Lanesborough and The Embassy. From 2013 to 2016 Sophie headed up the restaurant at the Belgraves Hotel, becoming the UK’s youngest female Executive Chef.

To date, Sophie has released 7 cookbooks including the bestselling; Irresistible,Cook Yourself Thin, Fabulous Food, Love Good Food, The Gorgeous Kitchen, Total Greek Yoghurt Cookbook and Chef On A Diet. Sophie's eighth cookbook, Baking Without Sugar, is due for release in May this year. It came to Sophie’s attention that there are over 8 million sugar intolerant people in the UK, Sophie being one of them. For Sophie, and many others, this means giving up the treats they love. With her new book she is making it easy to bake tasty treats without sugar. Featuring over forty recipes, Baking Without Sugar is the perfect addition to any health conscious baker’s library.

Sophie starred in the Channel 4 hit show Cook Yourself Thin. Other TV highlights include Sky Taste, Market Kitchen, Comic Relief, Iron Chef USA and Masterchef. She is part of the all-female team behind The Gorgeous Kitchen at Heathrow Terminal 2. Having worked privately for the likes of Claudia Schiffer and Leo DiCaprio and catered for high profile events such as The Royal Polo, cooking for Prince William and Prince Harry at Lord Lloyd Webber’s estate.

Sophie has worked as an ambassador and consultant to heavyweight global brands including Ocado, Herbal Essences, Haagendazs, Danone, Tefal and Lindemann. Sophie is well-regarded by the press and has appeared in and contributed to countless titles from Grazia, You, Stella and Healthy Magazine to The Telegraph, The Times, Guardian Weekend and Observer Food Monthly. In recent years Sophie has ran demonstrations and cooked at some of the countries most prestigious food festivals  including; Padstow Food Festival, Jamie Oliver’s Big Feastival and The Dorset Seafood Festival to name a few.
